1. Underwater Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM)

Underwater inspection, repair, and maintenance involve a range of activities conducted beneath the water’s surface to assess, fix, and maintain structures, equipment, and infrastructure. Skilled divers and/ or ROVs and specialized tools are used to conduct thorough inspections, identify potential issues or damage, and perform necessary repairs and maintenance tasks. These underwater operations are crucial for ensuring the integrity, safety, and optimal functioning of underwater assets, such as pipelines, offshore platforms, bridges, and ship hulls. Through meticulous inspection, timely repairs, and proactive maintenance, the longevity and efficiency of underwater structures are preserved, minimizing the risk of failures and maximizing their lifespan.

Surface Supplied Air Diving System (CDS-40)

The Dive Spread (Air) System which is owned by Pioneer Pegasus Sdn Bhd is built to ABS Class requirements and comply to IMCA Rev 1/OGP/SHELL-EPA guidelines. It is a portable and well-engineered product designed for efficient and rapid mobilization for offshore diving work.

The pressure vessel is constructed in accordance with ABS, ASME VIII PVHO code, in compliance with IMCA D023 Rev 1 guideline. Classed machinery is offered in a standard 20 ft ABS/DNV 2.7-1 container for machinery complete with Offshore Lifting Pad eyes with DNV Certified 4-legged lifting sling complete with master link.

ROV System
  • Observation Class Vehicles

These vehicles are small vehicles fitted with camera/lights and sonar only. They are primarily intended for pure observation, although they may be able to handle one additional sensor (such as cathodic protection (CP) equipment), as well as an additional video camera.

  • Inspection Class Vehicles

These vehicles are fitted with two simultaneously viewable cameras/sonar as standard and are capable of handling several additional sensors. They may also have a basic manipulative capability. They should be able to operate without loss of original function while carrying two additional sensors/manipulators.

  • Work Class Vehicles

These vehicles are large enough to carry additional sensors and/or manipulators. Class III vehicles commonly have a multiplexing capability that allows additional sensors and tools to operate without being ‘hard-wired’ through the umbilical system. These vehicles are generally larger and more powerful than Classes I and II. Wide capability, depth and power variations are possible.

Diving Supporting Equipment

i. High Pressure Water Jet (HPWJ) for diving operation
ii. Grit Blaster for diving operation
iii. Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU)
iv. Underwater Hydraulic tools for diver

    • Underwater Hydraulic Grinder
    • Underwater Hydraulic Pencil Grinder
    • Underwater Hydraulic Impact Wrench

v. BROCO welding and cutting spread
vi. Underwater Dredge Pump
vii. Diver Metrology Table
viii. BUCKLEYS Bathycorrometer CP Meter
ix. Underwater Digital Wall Thickness Meter
x. Underwater Digital Camera
xi. Recording system for underwater inspection work
